INPT visits Delhi on Renaming of Agartala Airport and other issues [8/27/2010]

Agartala, 26 Aug 2010:
A delegation of 4 members of the main regional political party of Tripura, INPT, lead by party President Mr Bijoy Kumar Hwrangkhawl left for Delhi today to take up various issues with the Central Government.
The delegation is expected to meet UPA Chairperson, Ms Sonia Gandhi, The Prime Minister of India, Dr Man Mohan Shigh, the Civil Aviation Minister, Mr Prafula Patel and various central ministers during their short stay at Delhi to raise various issues face by the indigenous people of Tripura.
Among the issues that will come up for discussion with the central ministers are the issue of Renaming of Agartala Airport after Maharaja Bir Bik .........

ADC Foundation Day, INPT wants more power [8/24/2010]

 Agartala, 23 Aug 2010: The people of Tripura today celebrated the ADC Foundation Day across the state remembering the leaders who fight for the Autonomous District Council for Tripuris.
INPT, the main regional political party of the state celebrated at it's party head office at Agartala. Senior party leader and former minister Mr Nagendra Jamatia hosted the party flag on the occasion.
He asserted the people of Tripura to raise their voices to rename the Agartala Airport after Maharaja Bir Bikram and demanded for constituting more power to AD .........
