Manik Sarkar hold secret talk to grab ADC Land : SMS [4/29/2012]

Agartala, 29 April, 2012: Chief Minister of Tripura Mr Manik Sarkar hold talked with Opposition Leader Mr Ratanlal Nath in a private hotel to grab Autonomous District Council (ADC) land to distribute among the Bengalis in Tripura, read one SMS that is circulated among the people. On publication in one local daily the news of the SMS widespread among the Tripuri populations and raised discontentment and doubt among the Bengali dominated National Political parties both the ruling CPIM and Congress.

Protest Against the Killing of Richard Loitam [4/29/2012]

Bangalore, 29th April 2012: Over 1500 people from different walks of life and many organizations today came out in protest at Town Hall, Bangalore, against the murder of Richard Loitam. The participants have collectively demanded the Karnakata government to thoroughly investigate the death of Richard Loitam, and the guilty be brought to justice. It has also called upon the Karantaka government to take action against the Acharya NRV school of architecture and it's official for their negligence, false accusation and the cover-up in the death of Richard Loitam.

 Agartala, 20 April 2012:"Sena" or Goria Mwtai is being celebrated across the State today.
Goria the biggest festivals of the indigenous people of Tripura and is celebrated by all the coomunities and people of Tripura State and Tripura communities from adjoining areas of Bangladesh.
Every house worship the Goria mwtai offering animals or eggs to Goria mwtai. The family members then take blessing from the elders of the family and villages.
