Beg your pardon, but i must say that you are seems to be look like more confused. Because, culture and religion can not be seperated with each other. These things are so inter dependant that you can not practice one without following the other.'Religion is the aim and culture/tradition is the way of achieving the aim. In every society you will find the same.
Yes, i agree with your point of view that religion is based upon the individuals choice, but being a tripuri don't you think so that you have some abideness and responsibilities towards your history, culture and religion.
Dear, may be my father is poor, but it does not mean that i will call or recognise some other person as my father.we are not orphan or unsoundmind, we have the most powerful and rich culture behind us and we have that capacity also to build ourself. so, what is the reason to follow or admire others irrespective of throwing your own.....
I think you need to think deeply.....

Second thing,what we need at this moment of time is healthcare,education,developement and Jobs.
Dr Atul being a medical practitioner should more focus on his profession and contribute to the society for well being.We need your expertise and please publish them here so that we can learn.Baba garia story we have been hearing from Kindergarten life...we dont need separate article to know about it here and that too from a doctor who needs to spend his time on healthcare.
You talk about H1N1,talk about women's health,talk about aids,talk about the progress of our people in medical science would be very appropriate.
Publishers of this website must encourage such thing instead of all these non important issues.
