I am not clear about your query, nevertheless if you are looking at doing MA in Enlish, then you can try at University of Hyderabad, but the last date for this academic year 2009-10 is over.
The minimum illegibility in UoH is 50% marks in graduation, and ST/SC candidate get relaxation upto 20% in Written Test/Interview here.
You also get a stipend of Rs. 1000/- per month
Tezpur University is another world class University in the making, situated in Assam,
Besides that you also can try in JNU, DU, Pondichery University,Banaras Hindu University etc...
